Renato Carvillani's career
Renato Carvillani (1896 - 1972) was an Italian sculptor born in Rome.
The artist moved to Paris at an early age, where he studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris, trained by Jean Antoine Injalbert and Jean Boucher. He soon exhibited his work at the major Parisian salons: Salon d'Automne, Salon des Indépendants and Salon des Artistes Français. His work met with limited success, which nevertheless enabled him to open a studio in the Cité d'Artistes in Paris's 15th arrondissement.

He died in 1972.
