Auguste Eugène Rubin (1941-1909), was a French sculptor born in Grenoble.

He was the younger brother of Hippolyte Rubin, also a sculptor, who taught him some of the basics.

It does not appear that the sculptor attended a school - although he also learned alongside the artist Auguste Bartholdi.

He occupied three successive studios in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, and exhibited at the Salon from 1877, which enabled him to make his work known.

His body of work encompasses various Art Nouveau iconographies, including wings (found, for example, at Agathon Léonard).
