He trained in sculpture at the Ecole Supérieure d'Arts Appliqués and the Académie de Montparnasse. He studied with Lucien Gibert and Antonuicci Volti, then worked for five years for the Joachim brothers.
Developing his personal career in parallel, he won numerous awards by exhibiting his sculptures in Parisian Salons.
