Gilbert Poillerat, emblematic ironworker of the 20th century

Gilbert Poillerat (1902-1988), is an emblematic artist of 20th-century ironwork.

He graduated from the École Boulle in 1921, and trained in ironwork with Edgar Brandt for eight years. During his apprenticeship, he tried his hand at painting and chasing.
