Luxurious saber with battle hilt. Brass mounting. Chased cap with scroll decoration and long tail. Jointed bow with four small branches connecting the central plate depicting a warship against a background of six pennants and a lictor beam. On the inner side, a second branch connects a second pallet and curved quillon ending in a bud. Horn spindle, watermark missing. Strong blade with two half-engraved gutters decorated with interlacing, eagle, lictor beam and trophies of arms. Leather scabbard with three fittings (missing bolt) ME. Total length: 111 cm.
