Framed (not examined out of frame). 470 x 580 mm Detailed map of Spain and Portugal by Homann. It offers excellent details of the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, as well as parts of southwest France and the northern tip of Africa. The map shows towns, villages, roads, bridges, forests, castles and local topography. In the upper right-hand corner is an elaborate title cartouche, with two crowned tritons and 15 coats of arms. Title in Spanish in the upper margin: "El Reyno de Espanna dividido en dos grandes Estados de Argon Y de Castilla, subdividido en muchas Provincias, donde le halla tambien El Reyno de Portugal".
