The map, undated, "se vent à Paris chez Danet gendre de l'auteur sur le Pont notre Dame al Sphère Royale".
The name "de Fer Géographe de sa Majesté Catolique" has been scratched out. The map extends from the Mediterranean and the Kingdom of Algiers in the west to the Caspian Sea and Uzbekistan in the east, and from Crimea and the Ukraine in the north to Abyssinia and the Gulf of Arabia in the south. The Red Sea is also known as the "Sea of Mecca".
