First edition (1862) of this rare, separately published map of the west coast of Canada and the United States, from the Queen Charlotte Islands in the north to the Port of San Diego in the south. Lighthouses are identified by colored dots (yellow and red). Includes twelve coastal profiles: Flattery Rocks; Cape Tillamook; Point Arago; Entrance to Sn.
