Promotional poster for a double-hemisphere world map by Lucien Boucher for Air France. The dominant colors are blue and burgundy with gold highlights. Air France routes are shown in red. The hemispheres feature two airplanes in flight, boats, a whale, a Neptune and two sea monsters adorning the oceans.
The upper and lower corners of the burgundy frame depict North and South American natives meeting Europeans, as well as Asian and African scenes. A decorative compass rose is placed between the hemispheres, and a medallion indicates the air routes available in Western Europe. Behind the title banner are monuments from some of Europe's major cities.
